Looking for a quick and easy way to get your message across? Check out Recite, a fun way to “turn a quote into a masterpiece.”
It’s pretty easy to make a poster or other display!
1. Click “create” on the main screen.
2. Type in your quote.
3. Scroll through the different formats at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select a format, and then post your quote to Pinterest, Tumblr, Stumbleupon, Facebook, or Twitter… or, simply download it to your computer.
Here are a few mini-posters I made using both an original idea and quotes I found on Brainy Quotes.
I sent the last image to my main Pinterest board, Lessons4Now Teach, Learn, and Play, so I could immediately share it online.
I hope you’ll try making a masterpiece of your own, and then leave a link in the comment area to share your creation!

The Seasonal Displays and Writing Prompts packet makes it easy to create large displays sized 18 X 20 inches. Each poster prints out on regular 8.5 X 11″ inch paper. No special printer is needed. Simply select the desired picture and print.
This packet includes:
► 18 Large Seasonal Designs
► 18 Matching Coloring Pages
► K-6 Lined Writing Paper with Coordinating Graphics
► 70+ Seasonal Writing Prompts
Once the graphic is printed, it’s easy to line up the six pages. Lightly glue the overlapped pages, and then tape the back seams for more secure handling. Finally, color the design and post the display in the hall or classroom. Older students can independently assemble these posters. These student-created displays can be the focal point of a bulletin board, or arranged in the hallway to create an eye-catching mural.
Each oversize poster has a matching coloring page and three (3) variations of lined writing paper with a coordinating graphic. Each grade level (K-1/2-3/4-6) also has a graphic-free page of lined paper. Teachers can use favorite prompts of their own to inspire creative student compositions or select from over seventy (70+) writing prompts. Prompts are listed by season. There are also several additional prompts that can be used throughout the year.
